Tahoe Improv Players at Valhalla Art, Music and Theatre Festival

7:30pm, $12. For twenty-one years, The Tahoe iMPRoV Players have been turning audience suggestions into hilarious scenes made up on the spot. They have performed at Valhalla Tahoe for 18 of their 20 years and were one of the first theater troupes to perform in the Boathouse Theater after it opened in 2000.For more info,
1:00pm, $10. Join Mrs. Tevis on the porch of the Tevis-Pope estate to hear about her life, the estate, and explore her arboretum while enjoying light refreshments. This is an outdoor program; quiet pets are welcome. $10.00/person.
2:00pm, $40. Take a trip back in time to the high society of Downtown Abbey and the British Landowners for an afternoon of tea and fashion. There will be a fashion show with clothes from 1912-1925, tea and hors d’oeuvres. This charming afternoon of tea and fashion will benefit the work of the Sierra State Parks Foundation. 7:30pm, $20-$28. Edward Albee’s Tony Award-winning tale of dangerous illusion and toxic truth centers on four unforgettable characters locked in a destructive marriage. In the wee hours of the night, the liquor runs freely and dark secrets pour out. Considered a masterpiece of American theatre, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is sure to leave the audience breathless.
